CrypKey is a licensing and encryption software that installs an application called NetworkX through ckldrv.sys. Users can find the file saved on the computer in the following file path: C:\Windows\System 32\ckldrv.sys. NetworkX uses the Python programming language, and the process can help users with source codes needed for software licensing and protection. CrypKey on the other hand, provides applications that will enable users to copy-protect their software to prevent illegal copying. Average file size is 30.91 KB. The file is also associated with Honeywell Win-Pak, as well as NStar Access Control Systems. Users who disabled the file were unable to use the applications associated with the two other software programs. The file has never been detected as a PC threat. However, there were some AV software that read the file as a virus, but this turned out to be because of conflicts with the two software, and not necessarily because it was an actual virus.
