The MMX310G 3G USB Manager software is bundled with the chgservice.exe process. This program is integrated with a set of functionalities for facilitating data transmissions done by users to and from their devices with 3G USB features and Microsoft Windows-based computer systems that are implemented with 3G USB connectivity support. The chgservice.exe file provides this software with options for selecting the correct service that is appropriate for the 3G USB connection which is being established by the user. The chgservice.exe process also has a variant that is bundled with the 3.5G Mobile Connect application. Another lesser known variant of the chgservice.exe file is also implemented into a SmartBRO application, and this executable process variant is known as Change Modem Device Service.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. chgservice.exe. is used by MMX310G 3G USB Manager or 3.5G Mobile Connect or SmartBRO Change Modem Device Service, If you shut down chgservice.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop chgservice.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is MMX310G 3G USB Manager or 3.5G Mobile Connect or SmartBRO Change Modem Device Service, from your system.

After uninstalling applications it is a good idea to scan you Windows registry for any left over traces of applications. Registry Reviver by ReviverSoft is a great tool for doing this.

A process usually a part of an installed application such as MMX310G 3G USB Manager or 3.5G Mobile Connect or SmartBRO Change Modem Device Service, or your operating system that is responsible for running in functions of that application. Some application require that they have processes running all the time so they can do things such as check for updates or notify you when you get an instant message. Some poorly written applications have many processes that run that may not be required and take up valuable processing power within your computer.

The first thing you should do if chgservice.exe. is causing errors on your computer is to run a Windows registry scan with Registry Reviver If you are still seeing errors after this you should uninstall the program that chgservice.exe, belongs to, in this case MMX310G 3G USB Manager or 3.5G Mobile Connect or SmartBRO Change Modem Device Service
