The cgasvc.exe file is an executable application process integrated into the system by the CyberGatekeeper software, which is a Windows program classified as a Dynamic Network Access Control (DNAC) application designed with a set of features for checking and verifying the compliance of client systems connected to the network with custom network requirements that have been configured by system administrators and IT personnel. The CyberGatekeeper software can also allow system administrators to grant network access to fully compliant client systems and quarantine those that have yet to satisfy the system requirements as defined by the network administrators. The cgasvc.exe process is specifically deployed as the EXE program dispatcher file of the CyberGateKeeper Agent Service application, which is a small program built into the CyberGatekeeper software, and this application is integrated into client systems and operates as a background process while the client system is connected to networks that are managed with the CyberGatekeeper software.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. cgasvc.exe. is used by CyberGatekeeper and CyberGatekeeper Agent Service Application, If you shut down cgasvc.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop cgasvc.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is CyberGatekeeper and CyberGatekeeper Agent Service Application, from your system.
