A windows driver file named CDRAL for Windows is also known as the cdralw2k.sys file. This file belongs to the software called DRAG-TO-DISK and made by the ROXIO. The software is necessary for the user to access the files of the user in the CD-ROM. The file cdralw2k.sys can usually be found in the C:\Windows\Systems32\drivers and has the file size of 23,436 bytes in the Hard Disk Drive. But the file size may vary on different versions of Microsoft Windows Operating System such as Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7. The program starts when the Operating System starts but can be stopped from the services located in the Control panel of the system. The user may also have the choice to remove the software by using the Add/Remove program situated also in the Control Panel of the Microsoft Windows Operating System. Other software may be used to remove the DRAG-TO-DISK application too.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. cdralw2k.sys. is used by DRAG-TO-DISK, If you shut down cdralw2k.sys, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start.
