Developed by Conexant Systems, caudiofilteragent64.exe is the executable file that launches the High Definition Audio Filter Agent, a sound player and enhancer, a 64-bit program user privilege when logged in to his account. Caudiofilteragent64.exe executes in the explorer.exe or Windows Explorer, with identifier file name cAudioFilterAgent found in C:\ProgramFiles\Conexant\cAudioFilterAgent\cAudioFilterAgent64.exe, and launched its application when accessed in the Startup Run key upon user log on. High Definition Audio Filter Agent is used in products like audio codecs, PC market solutions, speakers-on-a-chip, voice-enabled PCs, audio subsystems, PC sound system peripherals, notebook docking stations, speakers, VoIP speakerphones, door phones, intercoms, and audio-enabled surveillance device systems. Conexant Systems currently introduces new products that promote minimum power consumption, yet high-end audio codes for mobile applications for smart audio devices, such as no-filter speaker amplifiers, high definition audio bus, integrated DRC and equalizer, cap-less headphones and headset supports, support for analog and digital microphones, and additional feature combination to provide low-cost audio systems.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. caudiofilteragent64.exe. is used by Conexant High Definition Audio Filter Agent, If you shut down caudiofilteragent64.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start.
