Capture Service is the process name of the executable file captureservice.exe, and is a part of the program eQuality Agent, which is produced by Witness Systems, Inc. eQuality Agent is a type of Witness Call Recording Suite software that is designed and used for phone calls. The process is an essential component that is downloaded, once the software eQuality Agent is installed onto the computer. When captureservice.exe is installed, it is automatically registered into the Windows registry, stored on a folder location, either in C:\Program Files or C:\Documents and Settings, and possibly in C:\Windows too, but regardless where it is found, it is advisable to keep it running in the background. It is important to have this file process execute itself and provide a particular task, that completes the overall functionality of the program. In addition, this module works with most certain versions of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, including Windows 7, Windows XP, and Windows Vista.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. captureservice.exe. is used by eQuality Agent, If you shut down captureservice.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop captureservice.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is eQuality Agent, from your system.
