The ca.exe file in CA eTrust Internet Security Suite program is designed to help scan and remove malicious files that are infected by virus, Trojan, worm, and spyware. It is also a process that avoids spam through its spam score analysis, set firewall to protect any attack from the Internet, blocks phishing and hacking activities, and offers application control for further protection of the Windows computer. As the security software is essential to download and use on any computer, ca.exe is definitely a very necessary module that has to run during Windows startup, and whenever the PC is turned on.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. ca.exe. is used by eTrust EZ Armor or Crazy Arcade or Project1 or CA eTrust Internet Security, If you shut down ca.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start.
