What is  browsersniffer.dll

The browsersniffer.dll process is a DLL (Dynamic Link Library) module that belongs to the BrowserSniffer software. The file browsersniffer.dll is integrated with a set of features for sniffing Web applications to determine and serve the Web browser with the right content as requested by the user, even when some incompatibilities between the areas of the Web browser are utilized, such as interpretations of CSSs (Cascading Style Sheets), DOM (Document Object Model) items and HTML files. The browsersniffer.dll module is designed to implement certain standards and protocols, such as XMLHttp requests and SVG protocols, which were developed to help Web browsers in working with reliable content display functionalities. In order to run the process, Client-side sniffing should be available and active on the client computer, since the Web server is not capable of managing over the clients available resources. A Web server communicates with the client using a protocol known as HTTP (Hypertext Transfer Protocol), where information is communicated between the server and client to display the content of websites stored in the Web server.
