Known by the service name BackupService, the process backupservice.exe, which is a type of an executable or EXE file, is a part of the software product called or Asus WebStorage or Backup Monitoring Service, which is developed by ECAREME or Office of Drinking Water. When the program that houses the module is installed, the backupservice.exe file is also downloaded onto the computer, where it is stored on a file folder location, usually in C:\Program Files, C:\Documents and Settings or C:\Windows, registered into the Windows registry, and automatically run in the background. In addition, backupservice.exe is a digitally signed module (eCareme Technologies, Inc. - VeriSign Time Stamping Services Signer - G2), and a Windows file, which means it is an essential part of the application that needs to remain running in the background, also it is compatible with most versions of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, or Windows operating systems, or Windows OS, including Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2003, Windows 2000, Windows NT, and Windows ME.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. backupservice.exe. is used by EeeStorage or Asus WebStorage or Backup Monitoring Service, If you shut down backupservice.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop backupservice.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is EeeStorage or Asus WebStorage or Backup Monitoring Service, from your system.
