The atmpvcno.exe file has been identified by most anti-virus programs as a malware. It has been associated with Microsoft Windows operating system. Its location is in the folder C:\Windows\System32. Its known file sizes are 73,728 bytes, 90,112 bytes and 324,096 bytes [with 33% of being encountered] on Windows 7 or Windows XP programs. It is not a core file for Windows. It has no visible window. Reports on the file tell that it is encrypted or packed by a software packing process. Since it is an EXE file, it runs automatically when the program loads upon system boot up. It is also capable of recording inputs. The atmpvcno.exe is also known as Net-Worm.SillyFDC!rem. Its MD5 is c4aac50ca79213fb1060bf241f1d0a0b. The full path of this exe file on the computer is %SYSDIR%\ATMPVCNO.EXE.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. atmpvcno.exe. is used by Net-Worm.SillyFDC!rem, If you shut down atmpvcno.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop atmpvcno.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Net-Worm.SillyFDC!rem, from your system.
