Arpwrmsg.exe is the file executable for AlwaysReady Power Message, a broadcast program for the system device driver that sends notification that the framework can be power-managed or when it on idle or busy modes. It is a procedure that belongs to Compaq and Hewlett-Packard CPUs. Always Ready Power Management provides new automatic Power Management framework for the device automatically powered on the appropriate platform, providing control and management of the power usage of the computer or device. It enables the system energy conservation by using less energy resource when idle and when completely shutting down if not in use. Arpwrmsg.exe monitors the devices and determines non-usage. AlwaysReady Power Message enables communication between the device driver and the system software through user-modifiable configuration file. Although only the device drivers can determine that a device is on idle and able to power reduce, through the AlwaysReady Power Message, the user would be able to know which steps can optimize system performance.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. arpwrmsg.exe. is used by ARPowerMessage, If you shut down arpwrmsg.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop arpwrmsg.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is ARPowerMessage, from your system.
