What is  arpa.dll

The arpa.dll file is a library file program known as Purity Scan. This program has the purpose of scanning the user PC for any hidden adult-related material and removes it. It copies itself in the Windows Startup folder and load at startup. It will also show users large pop-up ads while connected to the Internet. It is compatible for use in Windows 2000, Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows Me, Windows NT, Windows Server 2003, Windows XP operating systems. The pop-up advertisements usually displayed while the program is running. Authors of these applications often include additional code to deliver the advertisements. It can be viewed through the pop-up windows or through a bar appearing on the computer screen or through text links or in integrated results. The Purity scan is an adware program that carries actions such as going memory resident, downloading other adware programs, and displaying a great number of advertising pop-up windows.
