ArcMonitor is the process name of the file arcmonitor.exe, and a component of the program ArcSoft MediaImpression for Kodak, also known as ArcSoft MediaImpression, which is created by ArcSoft. ArcSoft MediaImpression is a type of all-inclusive media hub for Windows desktop computers, laptops, and notebooks, as it feature related to the functions of Windows Media Player, iTunes, and Picasa. In short, it is a program that is used to watch video clips, listen to music or audio, and view photos, as well as other media contents. A user is also able to edit, which include red eye reduction, cropping, face tagging and enhancement, manage, share and print. As the core component, arcmonitor.exe is a Windows file that is essential, and must be kept running in the background. It is not recommended to terminate or stop it, unless it is causing errors or problems that slow down the performance of the computer system.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. arcmonitor.exe. is used by ArcSoft MediaImpression for Kodak or ArcSoft MediaImpression, If you shut down arcmonitor.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop arcmonitor.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is ArcSoft MediaImpression for Kodak or ArcSoft MediaImpression, from your system.
