What is archive.exe
The executable process file, archive.exe, has various associations including: that of having the description 7z SFX that belongs to the product 7-Zip as developed by Igor Pavlov, or Archive that is part of the product Company of Heroes-THQ Canada Inc., as developed by THQ Canada, Inc. and GSD Archiv as belonging to the product GSD Archiv developed by the Company GSD Software und Datentechnik mblt. The process file archive.exe is found to be running in the Task Manager as the process archive.exe. Its features include that of having no visible windows and not being a Windows core file. Upon start-up entry level of Windows, the process file archive.exe simultaneously starts with the Registry Key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Current Version\Run with several directories including: D:\sim 1, D:\Steam\Steam Apps\Common\Company of Heroes and \Server 1\Docuframe\Bin. The process file archive.exe is found to be located in the subfolder C:\Program Files with a size on Windows 7 or XP of 9,216 bytes on 40% of all occurrences, 106,496 bytes, 12,288 bytes or 16,384 bytes.
How can I stop archive.exe and should I?
Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. archive.exe. is used by Archive, If you shut down archive.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop archive.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Archive, from your system.
