The appnnode.exe process is also identified as AppnNode. This stands for Advanced Peer-to-Peer Networking Node. This program file was developed by IBM. The functions of the Advanced Peer-to-Peer Networking Node are to provide an effective protocol in routing processes and to reduce unnecessary prerequisites in the prediction of file resources and paths. The AppnNode also works to maintain a class of service and provides support on both legacy and APPN Traffic. There are also various types of APPN Nodes and these are the Network Node (NN), End Node (EN), Low Entry Node (LEN), Composite Network Node (CNN), and Branch Network Node (BrNN). All of these components work altogether to provide the system, a better quality function in line with peer-to-peer networking processes. The AppnNode has a known file size of 9,728 bytes. The program is not provided with a visible window.
