Production MFC Application or F14PM MFC Application is the term used as the service name of the process app2.exe, which is an executable or EXE file type, and a component of the program known as HP DesignJet (version 500PS 2.0v1) or Production Application, which is developed by Hewlett-Packard, otherwise known as HP, or SA International. Whichever software that houses the file is installed onto the computer, the app2.exe process is added into the Registry and stored on a file folder, while it runs in the background. It is essential to keep the app2.exe file running as a background service, and must not be deleted, unless it is causing errors or problems that affect the overall performance of the computer system. In addition, the app2.exe file is a Windows process, which means it works in most versions of Microsoft Windows operating systems,like Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2003, Windows 2000, Windows NT, and Windows ME.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. app2.exe. is used by HP DesignJet (version 500PS 2.0v1) or Production Application, If you shut down app2.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop app2.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is HP DesignJet (version 500PS 2.0v1) or Production Application, from your system.
