It is located in the folder C:\Windows\System32. This program is neither visible nor considered to be a Windows core file. Upon the start of Windows, this process automatically starts upon the registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run. . This has been considered to be an important tool in running various Windows operating system applications and therefore is considered safe. However, there are other variants of this process which may be considered highly related to a malware or a virus. It is set at 60% technical security danger. The file size is at 24,576 bytes on Windows 7 and Windows XP operating systems. Since this is a non-system process, it can be stopped or disabled anytime a user thinks it is causing problems on the computer.
