The acserver.exe file is a component of the AlfaCleaner software, which has been reported by many users as a rogue system security tool that displays exaggerated and false error messages, threat notifications and system security alerts. The acserver.exe process is an executable file deployed as the AlfaCleaner ACServer application, which is an applet built into the AlfaCleaner program that is used by the AlfaCleaner software for establishing remote communications and data transmissions between the Windows-based system and AlfaCleaner servers. Some users claim that the acserver.exe process and the AlfaCleaner software are spyware applications that collect private user details and Internet surfing information from the infected Windows-based system and its default Web browser. The acserver.exe file is placed in the system upon the installation of the AlfaCleaner software, which also means the acserver.exe process is bundled into the installer distribution packages of the AlfaCleaner rogue system security tool.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. acserver.exe. is used by AlfaCleaner and AlfaCleaner ACServer Application, If you shut down acserver.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop acserver.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is AlfaCleaner and AlfaCleaner ACServer Application, from your system.
