What is  acrobatinfo.exe

Adobe Acrobat PDF Info is a process that runs in the background through the file acrobatinfo.exe. This is part of Adobe Acrobat and seems to install when the Acrobat software is updated. The file appears to execute a process where the users are given a preview of their PDF files on the Windows Explorer shell. Most users find the file as an unnecessary burden to the system because it hogs system resources, slowing down computer speed and compromising the smooth flow of processes running alongside the file. There also appears to be “uninstall” option, based on users’ accounts. Killing the process from Task Manager usually only results in the file running again when the system reboots. The file’s default folder is C:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat 9.0\Acrobat\acrobatinfo.exe. File sizes are from 13,752 bytes to 15,800 bytes. Some antivirus programs detect the file as a threat, thereby removing it from the system. Users actually found out what the process does after their AV software has already deleted the file, because they find that they no longer have a PDF preview in Windows Explorer after their AV software deleted the file.
