The acmurochlpr.exe file is an EXE application process integrated into the Thinkvantage Access Connection software, which is a Windows program classified as a network connection configuration and management tool that is bundled into the firmware utilities and device driver software resources of certain Lenovo/IBM ThinkPad laptop models. The acmurochlpr.exe process aids in the integration of the wireless and wired network connectivity functionalities of the associated Lenovo/IBM ThinkPad hardware components into the Windows-based system as requested by the user. The acmurochlpr.exe process is included as one of the component files, drivers and libraries bundled into the installer distributions of these Lenovo/IBM ThinkPad firmware utilities and drivers, which also means the acmurochlpr.exe file is placed in the system upon the installation of these Lenovo/IBM ThinkPad component resources.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. acmurochlpr.exe. is used by Lenovo/IBM Thinkvantage Access Connection, If you shut down acmurochlpr.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop acmurochlpr.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Lenovo/IBM Thinkvantage Access Connection, from your system.
