The accessl.exe process is an executable file that pertains to or called by as AccessL, a component of Hotkey Driver, which is a program developed by Chicony Electronics Company, Ltd., and is also associated with PC utilities and maintenance tools. When Hotkey Driver is installed, the file accessl.exe is also downloaded, located in the folder C:\Program Files, and registered in the registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run. Once downloaded, this file launches the application with the execution of other processes. As the main component, accessl.exe must be kept on the computer system. Unless infected, corrupted or accidentally deleted, this file process has to remain running in the background. In addition, the Hotkey Driver software is required when Multimedia Keyboards is used, as the former is utilized to give supplementary functions, as well as configuration for the latter. Therefore, AccessL is a tool that is regarded as an important part of the driver software.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. accessl.exe. is used by Hotkey Driver, If you shut down accessl.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop accessl.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Hotkey Driver, from your system.
