What is I.exe
The executable I.exe file does not appear to be part of a legitimate process. According to threat experts’ reviews, as well as reports made by users; the file is mostly linked to a number of malicious software, the most commonly mentioned of which are Worm.32.Ldpinch.A and CWS malware. These forms of viruses inject malicious code into system files to hijack Internet browsers, and install .dll modules so these can be executed upon computer startup. After which, the malicious file will go on to take over system processes, causing applications to crash or unable to launch; and displaying a number of system error messages which could eventually lead to complete system failure. It is approximated that ten out of ten users found the file as malicious and consider it as a high security risk. In such cases, the immediate removal of the file, either through deletion or quarantine, depending on the AV software’s capabilities to handle the malicious file, was undertaken.
