The 3rvx.exe executable file is a file launcher of the program 3RVX. The 3rvx.exe executable is programmed and developed by Matthew Malensek. 3RVX is classified as audio software and is a Windows desktop volume controller. It was developed by Matthew Malensek in response to the Mac OS volume display to allow Windows users to experience Apple’s patented technology. Same as with the Mac OS X version, the volume control window appears as a bubble which appears and disappears on command by a keyboard. The 3rvx.exe executable runs in the background while the program runs and can be set to run on startup. The 3RVX interface is skinnable and enables users to use their own designs for the program. The 3RVX software also enables the user to eject drives and to see notifications about inserted drives. Hotkeys are also customizable by the user for volume control, exiting the program and drive ejection.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. 3rvx.exe. is used by 3RVX, If you shut down 3rvx.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop 3rvx.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is 3RVX, from your system.
