Known by the service name Controller App, the process called 360tray.exe, which is a type of an executable or EXE file, is a part of the software product labeled as360Tray, which is a program created by Microsoft Corporation. The 360tray.exe file is digitally signed from 360.cn - COMODO Time Stamping Signer, and this module is legitimate or safe to download and use, unless it is causing errors or problems that affect the computer system performance. Furthermore, as a creation by Microsoft Corporation, 360tray.exe works with versions of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, which include new and popular versions, such as Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2003, Windows 2000, Windows NT, and Windows ME. Whichever Windows operating system or OS is used, 360tray.exe must not be terminated or stopped at all, so it does not disable the function of the file, or the entire program that houses it.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. 360tray.exe. is used by 360Tray, If you shut down 360tray.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop 360tray.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is 360Tray, from your system.
