Hi Theodore,
Looks like the recent auto update messed up your existing installation.
I would recommend the steps below to get this sorted:
1. Uninstall iTunes and all its components by following the detailed guide below:
http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1923
2. Restart your PC
3. Download the latest version of iTunes from here:
http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
4. Install iTunes with full administrator privileges (Run as Admin)
Let us know how you go with this.
Good luck,
James

Hi Theodore,
When the \"Msvcr80 DII not installed\" error (or variants of this error) occurs in Windows Vista / 7 / 8, this can be corrected by properly removing and re-installing Apple iTunes. To do this, follow the quick and easy steps below.
STEP 1. Go to Control Panel. Then, in the following order, uninstall all components that are associated with Apple iTunes. Afterwards, restart your computer. Next, move on to step 2 below.
• iTunes
• Apple Software Update
• Apple Mobile Device Support
• Bonjour
• Apple Application Support -- This will be present in case you have Apple iTunes 9 or a much recent version.
*** NOTE: You may encounter other errors if you do not uninstall the items above in that exact order.
STEP 2. Confirm that all folders as well as all files in the folders below have been properly removed from your computer. Otherwise, delete them.
• C:Program FilesBonjour
• C:Program FilesCommon FilesApple
• C:Program FilesiTunes
• C:Program FilesiPod
*** NOTE: If you have a 64-bit version of Windows, then you must also confirm if the folders below (and all files in these folders) have been properly removed. Otherwise, delete them.
• C:Program Files (x86)Bonjour
• C:Program Files (x86)Common FilesApple
• C:Program Files (x86)iTunes
• C:Program Files (x86)iPod
*** NOTE: In some instances, which may occur on both a 32-bit or a 64-bit version of Windows, you may encounter an alert that says \"Cannot delete iPodService.exe: It is being used by another person or program\" when trying to delete the iPod folder. This may be resolved by doing the following things:
• Close iPod Updater and / or iTunes, in case these are actively running in the system.
• Load Windows Task Manager by pressing CTRL+ALT+DEL.
• Go to the Processes tab to see a list of actively running processes in your system, and find iPodService.exe.
• Right-click on iPodService.exe, choose \"End Process\" in the pop-up menu and click OK in the next prompt (if any).
• Close Windows Task Manager and move on to step 3 below.
STEP 3. Restart your computer. Download the latest version of Apple iTunes for your version of Windows. Install and enjoy! :)

Then Restart your computer. Step 3: Install iTunes software on your computer.
If the above steps didn't work, or you're not seeing this problem with iTunes, move on to below methods, which involves reinstalling the original source of the msvcr80.dll file. Method 1: Download the Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Service Pack 1 Redistributable Package MFC Security Update and run it. This will replace/restore the msvcr80.dll with the most recent copy provided by Microsoft. You're given several download options from Microsoft for this update, based on the version of Windows you have installed - x86 (32-bit) or x64 (64-bit). Method 2: Use System Restore to undo recent system changes. If you suspect that the msvcr80.dll error was caused by a change made to an important file or configuration, a System Restore could solve the problem. To take this route, refer to these steps:
