I would recommend leaving behind the Microsoft Visual C++ redistributable packages on your computer. These packages contain library files and components that are required by software programs on your computer that were developed using Microsoft Visual C++. If they have not been installed correctly, you can uninstall them carefully and reinstall them again by downloading it from the Microsoft website.

As for the duplicate content on your computer, if you are sure that a copy of your content exists at a different location, it should be safe to delete the duplicates from your computer. There are also several free tools you can use to scan your computer for duplicate files and remove them quickly.
