The repetition of keys might be due to many factors. You should try the below methods to remove it:
Method 1:
Open up the Windows Control Panel by going to Start and selecting Control Panel from the menu.
Double-click on the 'Accessibility Options' icon to launch the applet.
Under the keyboard tab you'll see an option called 'FilterKeys'. Put a tick in the Use FilterKeys box and click on Settings button.
Inside the FilterKeys Settings dialog we can tell it to behave exactly as we want it to. Or at least approximately. You can either set Windows to ignore all repeated keystrokes (i.e. you'll have to lift your finger from the key and replace it if you actually want a repeated keystroke) or you can set the repeat rate to be much slower.
Method 2:
Spilled liquid or food
If food or liquid has ever been spilled into the keyboard, it can cause the keys to stick and be repeated. Spilled liquid can also cause the circuit board in the keyboard to short out, causing keys to be repeated. It could be worth trying to use canned air and blowing out any food material and dry out any spilled liquid, to see if that fixes the repeating keys issue. Food and some liquids may also leave behind a sticky residue, which could cause the keys to continue sticking and repeating. The sticky residue can be very difficult to remove and may require you to pull keys off the keyboard and clean underneath them with rubbing alcohol.
If anything is split onto the keyboard turn the computer off immediately or at the very least disconnect the keyboard from the computer.
Once done flip the keyboard over to prevent the substance from penetrating circuits.
While the keyboard is upside down, shake the keyboard over a surface that can be cleaned later. While still upside down, use a cloth to start cleaning the keys.
After cleaned leave the keyboard upside down for at least one night allowing it to dry. Once dry, continue cleaning the keyboard with any remaining substance.
Method 3:
Loose or bad connection
Make sure the connection between the keyboard and computer is not loose by disconnecting and reconnecting the keyboard. When disconnecting, keep the below suggestions in mind.
When disconnecting, make sure nothing is connected between the keyboard and the computer.
If your keyboard is a PS/2 connection keyboard, make sure to shutdown the computer before disconnecting and reconnecting.
If you're using a USB keyboard, make sure it is directly connected to the computer and not a USB hub.
