The usb works on other computers, but not mine. Probably seems a bit extreme, but I think I might have to reflash the BIOS, but I dont know how.

Hi Benny,

Please check the below points before moving forward to boot:
  1. Verify no floppy diskette, CD, or USB drive is connected to the computer. In some cases, the computer may be trying to boot from either of these drives causing issues with the boot sequence.
  2. f the computer freezes at "Verifying dmi pool data..." there may be an issue with the hard drive settings within CMOS. Enter CMOS setup and verify that the hard drive settings are set properly and that it is set to Auto Detect.
Then follow the below steps to resolve your problem:

To fix this boot from the USB Drive, select the Repair Windows section, select the command prompt option, type :
BOOTREC.EXE /FIXBOOT
and hit enter.
Close the command prompt and select restart.

I hope this works for you.

Thanks,
Lokesh.

I kept getting the blue screen with Driver Power State Failure error message and then my computer would restart. I found your product and it did not happen any more. I just purchased an anti-virus (kaspersky) and now it is doing it again. It is so frustrating. My computer is only 6 months old. It is a Asus desktop.
