I received an error message: "unhandled exception, 8000000 3h, occurred". How can this be fixed? Thank you.. I have been trying to deal with this problem but I am exasperated at this point.

Hi Pauline,

Since this is not a common error we get in Windows, you need to provide me with your Event Viewer administrative logs by following these steps:

  1. Press the Win key + "R" and type eventvwr -> enter
  2. Expand Custom Views
  3. Click Administrative Events
  4. Right click Administrative Events
  5. Save all Events in Custom View As...
  6. Save them in a folder where you will remember which folder and save as Errors.evtx
  7. Go to where you saved Errors.evtx
  8. Right click Errors.evtx -> send to -> compressed (zipped) folder
  9. Upload the .zip file to Onedrive or a file sharing service and put a link to it in the comments section here.
If you have updated to win 8.1 and you get the error message "the system cannot find the file specified" it is a known problem. The work around is to edit the registry.

Press Win+"R" and input regedit

Navigate to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\WINEVT\Channels.

Delete
"Microsoft-Windows-DxpTaskRingtone/Analytic"

I hope this helps.

Regards,
Lokesh

I kept getting the blue screen with Driver Power State Failure error message and then my computer would restart. I found your product and it did not happen any more. I just purchased an anti-virus (kaspersky) and now it is doing it again. It is so frustrating. My computer is only 6 months old. It is a Asus desktop.
