Hi Kian,

If you already have an ADmin account, but unable to delete some files from C drive, you can try the below fixes to delete the files:

Fix 1. Make sure you're logged-in from administrator account
  1. Click Start. Go to Control Panel.
  2. Click User Accounts->Manage User Accounts.
  3. Check the account type (administrator/ standard user). If the account type is standard, you'll have to continue following below steps.
  4. Click Start | Switch Account.
  5. Log-in to your Administrator account with valid password.

Fix 2. Take Ownership of the File/ Folder
Taking file/ folder ownership means nothing but to specify read/ write/access permissions in the file/ folder properties dialog. There is a good possibility that the file/ folder properties lack enough ownership permissions.
  1. Open Windows Explorer. Open the parent directory where the actual file is stored.
  2. Now right-click on File or Folder and select Properties.
  3. Click on Security Tab | Advanced and then Owner.
  4. Change Owner to | Click on New Owner
  5. To take ownership of all objects and sub-containers select Replace Owner on Sub-Container and Objects

Fix 3. Remove Disk Junk

  1. Click on Start button and in Search box type "Disk Cleanup".
  2. Right-click on Disk Cleanup and select "Run as administrator" option.
  3. Select the disk volume and click on OK.

I hope this helps in deleting that file from C drive now.

Regards,
Lokesh
