What is  syntp.sys

Basically called by its service name Synaptics Touchpad Driver, the syntp.sys process is a driver file and a component of Synaptics Pointing Device Driver, also Synaptics TouchPad Driver or Synaptics Device Driver, which is produced by Synaptics. This Windows program is a part of a touchpad utility program that runs in the background, once the application that houses it is launched on the computer.
