This application enables enterprise-wide, secure web-based packet capture from end user workstations and servers. The security and administrative tools allow deployment of lightweight capture agents across thousands of servers and desktops, so in case of issues with an application, end users are enabled to send the necessary packet captures for troubleshooting. Key features of this application include automatic agent discovery, Web-based interactive packet capsule, centralized agent management via Web portal, and audit trail of all user activity related to agents. Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. op_capture_server.exe. is used by OPNET Application Capture Agent, If you shut down op_capture_server.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start.
