Dsm_om_connsvc32.exe, with the name “Internet Server NT Service” is the executable file for the Server Administrator software, a product by Dell Corporation. This program provides management and optimization tools for Dell manufactured computers. It contains applications, patches, updates and upgrades, downloadable components, controllers, and server managers for the Dell machines. The program has two main variants, namely, the Dell OpenManage and the Dell OpenManage Server Administrator Updates. Dell OpenManage provides instructions for system management applications, protocols, and product specifications. It is not a product by itself, but a brand name of product collection. The Dell OpenManage Server Administrator Updates is an application patch for the server administrators containing storage management components for improved system stability of Dell servers. It allows the system administrators management of individual servers in an integrated, Web-based graphical user interface and from the command-line interface via the operating system either locally and remotely within a network.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. dsm_om_connsvc32.exe. is used by Dell OpenManage Server, If you shut down dsm_om_connsvc32.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop dsm_om_connsvc32.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Dell OpenManage Server, from your system.
