The convertxtodvd.exe process is an executable component file of the Convert X to DVD software, which is a Windows program classified as a multimedia application developed with a set of features for converting digital videos stored in MKV, AVI, WMV, MP4 and so on into DVD formats that are compatible with widely used Windows DVD players, and for directly burning converted DVDs unto optical media disks using DVD-RW drives that are connected to the Windows-based computer. The Convert X to DVD software is embedded with features for faster video conversions using hardware decoding protocols and also integrated with options for adding menus or chapters among other DVD editing functions. The convertxtodvd.exe process is specifically deployed into the system by the Convert X to DVD software as its executable program dispatcher file, which means users can load the Converter X to DVD program unto the system, access the UI (User Interface) components of this application and implement its DVD conversion functionalities by activating the convertxtodvd.exe file, which is placed in the system upon the installation of the Convert X to DVD software.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. convertxtodvd.exe. is used by Convert X to DVD, If you shut down convertxtodvd.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop convertxtodvd.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Convert X to DVD, from your system.
