The cmccore.exe file is an EXE component process of the CMC AntiVirus software, which is a Windows program classified as a system security tool that was developed by CMC Information Security with a set of features for monitoring the system, detecting and blocking possible malicious applications like viruses, backdoor rootkits, Trojans, worms, spyware programs and other malware items, in order to protect the Windows-based computer against potential hacker attacks, system stability issues, data security risks, user privacy threats, data loss and corruption. The cmccore.exe file is deployed into the system by the CMC AntiVirus software as one of its core EXE component processes, and this file is specifically integrated to assist in the implementation of this software's anti-malware detection and blocking functionalities into the Windows-based computer. The cmccore.exe file is placed in the system upon the installation of the CMC AntiVirus application, which also means the cmccore.exe process is included as one of the resource files and libraries that are packaged into the installer distributions of the CMC AntiVirus software.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. cmccore.exe. is used by CMC AntiVirus, If you shut down cmccore.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop cmccore.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is CMC AntiVirus, from your system.
