CLCapSvc Module is the service name of the Windows process called clcapsvc.exe, and is a component of the software CyberLink Background Capture Service or abbreviated as CBCS, also Cyberlink PowerCinema or Acer Empowering Technology or QuickPlay SlingPlayer or HP Driver Diagnostics or HPSSupply or Oblivion. If the file clcapsvc.exe is bundled in the software CyberLink Background Capture Service or Cyberlink PowerCinema, it is a process used to record TV in the background, which allows a user to re-watch, pause, and rewind it. If it is included within the program Acer Empowering Technology, it is certainly an essential part of the Acer Arcade Deluxe. Regardless of the software used, if the clcapsvc.exe file is integrated with it, this is automatically downloaded once the program that houses it is installed onto the computer. If it is stored, this file needs to remain running in the background, and must not be terminated or removed unless it is causing problems or errors, that may greatly affect the performance and stability of the Windows computer system.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. clcapsvc.exe. is used by CyberLink Background Capture Service, If you shut down clcapsvc.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop clcapsvc.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is CyberLink Background Capture Service, from your system.
