The lxcicoms.exe process is an EXE application resource file that is used by the firmware components and driver software utilities of certain Lexmark printing devices for implementing the network communication functionalities embedded in the Printer Communication System module into Windows-based systems. This means the lxcicoms.exe process works with other component files and libraries of the connected or networked Lexmark printer and system resources, in order to establish communication lines between the system, the Lexmark printing device, the networked computers and the Lexmark drivers and firmware utilities. The lxcicoms.exe file is placed in the system upon the installation of the Printer Communication System module, which is in turn integrated into the Windows-based system during the installation process for these associated Lexmark printer firmware components and driver software resources. To stop lxcicoms.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Lexmark Printer Firmware/Driver Software and Lexmark Communication System Module and Printer Communication System Module, from your system.
