Dritek WMI Service, otherwise known as Dritek Windows Management Instrumentation Service, is installed on Windows-based computers through the executable file dsiwmis.exe. The file usually gets installed with the OS software or it may also come pre-loaded on certain brands of laptops and notebooks. The file provides support for Windows Driver Model, which basically means that it enables certain device drivers installed on your Windows PC to function properly. If you have Dritek hardware installed on your computer, the file enables Windows to communicate with the drivers for your Dritek products. The file loads on the system through the executable services.exe, which is the Windows Services and Controller app. It has two child processes, lmutilps32.exe, which is the Launch Manager Utility from Dritek; and lmworker.exe, Launch Manager Worker, also from Dritek. The file has a standard installation location of C:\Program Files\Launch Manager\dsiwmis.exe. If you have the file version 3.5.0.1938 installed on your computer, the file size would be about 344.58 KB.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. dsiwmis.exe. is used by Dritek WMI Service, If you shut down dsiwmis.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start.
