Hi Zohan,

The boot time for Windows 10 should not be taking more than 60 seconds to load. Right click on Computer icon, click on Manage and select Event Viewer from it.

Go to System: Windows log Section and then check which process is taking more time during the boot.
Then compare the speed in safe mode. If the difference between boot time is more than 10 seconds, uninstall the programs which took more time.

Now defragment your hard drive by following below steps:
  1. Click on the Charms Bar > Optimize Drives.
  2. The Optimize Drives dialog shall open, displaying the list of drives.
  3. Select the drive of your choice (Note that: the Current status field will give you the % fragmented).
  4. Click on *Optimize.
Use Power start option
You're going to want to make sure the Fast Startup setting is enabled. Also known as Fast Boot in Windows 8, this feature shuts your PC down similar to how it sets the machine to sleep, writing the state of your operating system to a hibernation file. You can use the below steps to do so:
1. Click the Start button.

2. Type "Power Options."

3. Select Power Options.

4. Click "Choose what the power button does."

5. Select "Change settings that are currently unavailable" if the Shutdown settings are greyed out.

6. Check the box next to "Turn on fast startup."

7. Click Save Changes.

Now your PC will take advantage of the Fast Startup mode when you boot it up.

Multiple Programs eating memory – It is also a good idea to stop all third party software and look for the error. To achieve this:
  1. Click Start and type msconfig and press Enter.
  2. Under the General tab, select Selective Startup.
  3. Clear Load Startup Items and then select the Services tab.
  4. Check the option Hide all Microsoft services and then select Disable All.
If the system starts working fine, you can enable one program at a time to determine which program is causing the problem.

Checking the system configuration – Windows 10 uses lot of resources and space. It needs a minimum 1.5 GB DDR2 on 32-bit and 2 GB DDR2 on 64 bit versions, and it also requires a minimum of 15 GB on 32 bit and 20 GB on a 64-bit system.
If Windows is installed on a system with a configuration much lower than specified, it is bound to become slow and pop up regular Not Responding messages.
So, make sure that your computer hardware meets minimum system requirements.

I hope this helps.

Regards,
Lokesh

I kept getting the blue screen with Driver Power State Failure error message and then my computer would restart. I found your product and it did not happen any more. I just purchased an anti-virus (kaspersky) and now it is doing it again. It is so frustrating. My computer is only 6 months old. It is a Asus desktop.
