0x8007ee2 code can appear in the system if Windows updates failed to install in the computer. The same error code can also appear in the computer upon OS activation failure. Live mail error or Windows store error.

There are two solutions for this:
1) If you are using a Windows version other than Home:

• configure your Internet Explorer to use the correct proxy;

You achieve this by doing the following:

1. In Internet Explorer, go to "Tools" and then "Internet Options";
2. Choose "Connections" and then "Lan Settings";
3. Configure the correct proxy server over there.

• Now tell windows to use the Internet Explorer configuration;

1. Open a command prompt with elevated privileges, by right clicking on "Command prompt" and choosing "run as administrator;
2. type "netsh" and hit enter;
3. type "winhttp' and hit enter;
4. type "import proxy source=ie" and hit enter;
5. reboot your computer and it's done.

2) If you are running a Home edition:

1. configure your Internet Explorer to use the correct proxy (as stated above);
2. open a command prompt by "Start" -> "Run" -> "cmd";
3. type "proxycfg -u";
4. reboot your computer and it's done.
