The file xpicleanup.exe is a non-system process that can be run in a Windows operating system. Since it is one of the non-system processes, users have the option to stop it when necessary or when they do not want it to run during Windows startup. The xpicleanup.exe has been developed by the Mozilla Foundation and is being used on the Firefox browser as software. So far, there are no reported issues regarding the harm that this process can bring to a user’s computer. For as long as there are not too many programs running on a user’s computer system, the computer should still run normally. But in cases where too many programs are running in the background, the computer may slow down. Sometimes, running this application can contribute to the slowing down of the PC performance. To turn this application off, a user can access the Microsoft System Configuration Utility to change the settings.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. xpicleanup.exe. is used by Firefox, If you shut down xpicleanup.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop xpicleanup.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Firefox, from your system.
