The xgchabgnd.exe process is an executable program file that has been reported by many users as a malicious program asociated with the Trojan-Dropper.Win32.Mudrop.ojq application, which is a family of Trojans. Other user reports claim that the xgchabgnd.exe process is a variant of the Trojan.Win32.VBKrypt.cpnh program, which is another family of Trojans. These user reports state that the xgchabgnd.exe process is capable of exploiting unprotected TCP/IP network ports of the infected system, in order to initiate contact with Web servers that are operated and managed by the authors of the malicious progam. Upon establishing communications with these remote servers, some users reported that the xgchabgnd.exe process begins to download more malicious programs unto the Windows-based system, and transmits collected data like Internet surfing information and private user details from the infected system and its default Web browser to these remote servers. The same users state that the xgchabgnd.exe process is capable of creating and injecting keys and entries into the Windows System Registry, in order for the system to allow the xgchabgnd.exe process to automatically initialize during system startup and to covertly operate as a background process during system runtime.
