This is a Windows program classified as an online gaming client application that was developed by Wild Tangent with a set of tools for automatically finding available game updates and client software upgrades that can be downloaded and installed in the system upon user request. The wcmdmgrl.exe process is specifically deployed as a component of the Wild Tangent Web Driver module, which is an applet built into the Wild Tangent online game client software. The wcmdmgrl.exe file is placed in the system upon the installation and configuration of the Wild Tangent online game client application, which also means the wcmdmgrl.exe process is integrated into the installer distribution packages of the Wild Tangent online game client software.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. wcmdmgrl.exe. is used by Wild Tangent Online Game Client, If you shut down wcmdmgrl.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop wcmdmgrl.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Wild Tangent Online Game Client, from your system.
