What is  userdump.exe

An Executable file userdump.exe or User Mode Process Dumper is used to dump any running Win32 processes memory image which includes system processes like winlogon.exe, services.exe, csrss.exe, etc. on the fly without attaching a debugger, or even terminating target processes. It has a file name of UserModeProcessDumper8_1_2929_5.exe with a file size of 3.5 MB. Userdump.exe is compatible with Windows XP x64 Edition SP2 and Windows Server 3002 SP2. The debugger extension !runaway is now working because it has an added thread time information to the dump file by default. Userdump.exe has comment stream which is added to indicate that the process was generated. Dump file is being generated when dump file generates dumps when: pressing hot key sequence; process being monitored exited automatically; process being monitored caused exceptions automatically; specifying PID or process name from command line. It has a file size of 78,416 bytes or 116,968 bytes. The user can also install the dump utility using Setup.exe, or extract and manually invoke the executable file (Userdump.exe) using command line.
