The ultramon.exe file is an executable application process packaged with certain DLL modules, some SYS driver components, other EXE program files and associated resources that are used and referenced by the UltraMon software, which is a Windows program classified as a multi-monitor configuration and management application designed by Realtime Soft with a set of functions that can allow users to implement multiple monitors into a single Windows-based system. The ultramon.exe file is placed in the system upon the installation of the UltraMon software, which also means the ultramon.exe process is included in the installer distribution packages of the UltraMon program. The ultramon.exe process is specifically deployed as the executable program dispatcher file of the UltraMon software, which means the ultramon.exe process can be activated by the user, in order to load the UltraMon program and implement its functions into the system. Upon its execution, the ultramon.exe process calls on other executable program components and references certain DLL modules that are necessary for the UltraMon software to perform the requested operations of the user.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. ultramon.exe. is used by Realtime Soft UltraMon, If you shut down ultramon.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop ultramon.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Realtime Soft UltraMon, from your system.
