What is  syncor.exe

The syncor.exe file is an executable process included with the other EXE files, DLL modules, SYS drivers and associated resources that are used and referenced by the driver software and firmware components of certain SoundMAX soundcards and audio chipsets from Analog Devices. The syncor.exe file is specifically deployed as one of the processes integrated into the MIDI subsystem firmware of these supported SoundMAX soundcards. The syncor.exe process is also included in the installer distribution packages of these firmware and driver software components, which means the syncor.exe file is placed in the system upon the installation of these SoundMAX driver software components and firmware resources. The syncor.exe process is also known as the SoundMAX SynthCore COM Server module. The syncor.exe file and the SoundMAX firmware and driver software components are embedded with compatibility support for widely used versions of Microsoft Windows.
