The symsnapservice.exe process is also known as the Symantec Snapshot Service and it belongs to the software Symantec SymSnap Components Development Edition and it is owned by Symantec. The application contains no visible window. The process is not a Windows system file. It is a Verisign signed file and has a digital signature. The application is located within the Windows folder, but it is not a Windows core file.
