The process sunkfilt.sys, known as SunkFit, belongs to software Multimedia Card Reader from Alcor Micro. The process file sunkfilt.sys is a driver for the device multimedia card reader from Alcor Micro, and should be installed in the computer to ensure that the operating system will be able to communicate with the device. Multimedia card readers are simple devices that connect to the computer and reads SD (secure digital) and MMC memory cards, as well as compact flash (CF) memory cards. Most new computers have built-in memory card slots, but for those units that do not have this feature, a multimedia card reader has to be used to transfer files and folders from the computer to the memory card. To use a multimedia card reader on a PC, connect the device with a USB cable to an open USB port on the computer. Insert the memory card on the appropriate slot in the card reader and the computer will automatically recognize and read the device as a portable disk.
