The sm.exe file is a component of the software Atomic Subscription Manager 1.7. Business corporations make use of this software because the software is capable of sending emails by volume. The emails are personalized and can be created from any of the several database sources such as Access and Excel. The emails may have conditional content, HTML formatting and attachments. The sm.exe file enables the user to send emails fast to either multiple or individual recipients. Sm.exe provides the software Atomic Subscription Manager 1.7 the capability to organize the emails through a directory of names and addresses. Both sm.exe and Atomic Subscription Manager function as a management utility for mailing lists which the user subscribes or unsubscribes to. There can be as many mailing lists as the user can maintain however there are still policies on subscription. Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. sm.exe. is used by Atomic Subscription Manager, If you shut down sm.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start.
