The executable file slplugin.exe is a process that is more known by its name SecondLifeViewer2, which is created by The Phoenix Viewer Project. Also called as Firestorm-Release Viewer or Phoenix Viewer, SecondLifeViewer2 is a program that refers to the “client” of Second Life, which is an online virtual world that is created by Linden Lab. A user has to connect, communicate and explore when playing the virtual game Second Life, but he or she has to download the 3D browsing software, which is the SecondLife Viewer (SL Viewer). Moreover, SL Viewer 2, which contains the slplugin.exe file, is among the popular clients for the virtual game. The file process, slplugin.exe, is bundled in the program to replace the in-built Internet browser, as well as parcel media contents of Second Life. When the SecondLifeViewer2 application is downloaded, the slplugin.exe file hides and stores itself in the folder C:\Program Files from any of the 3 variants.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. slplugin.exe. is used by SecondLifeViewer2, If you shut down slplugin.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start.
